Our Mission
Science Throughout the Fleet
The mission of STARFLEET Sciences is to serve as an informational and communications
resource for science leadership throughout STARFLEET while enhancing interest in
science among our membership and promoting science education wherever possible.
Science and science fiction have always shared a close relationship. Ideas once
imagined on screen increasingly influence the technologies, questions, and discoveries
being explored in the real world. STARFLEET Sciences provides members with opportunities
to explore those connections while learning about the universe around us.
